Pure Puppy Love | Sarnia/ Lambton County Pet Portrait Photographers

Meet Butch, Takoda, Snorrie, Maverick. As you can tell we haven't decided what his name is yet. He is our eleven week old black Labrador retriever puppy. His mama and papa belong to great friends of ours, so we know him well. He is the most mellow and sweetest puppy one could own. I think he quite likes having his photo taken too.

We think he's adorable! Here's to puppy love!

First Fall Session | Sarnia/ Lambton County Photographers

Fall colours means great days for fall portrait sessions.

The family we photographed for our first fall session is dear to our hearts as we share several things in common including homeschooling our children. But, the best part is that we are walking an adoption journey together. We've shared ups and downs, highs and lows, but time is moving forward bringing both our families ever closer to our much anticipated children. Meanwhile, we were able to enjoy photographing this sweet family on a day that genuinely felt like autumn. Here are just a few of my favorite shots:

Someone decided to sneak a peek to see what we were up to :o).

I'm so glad both our families decided to take French classes, although I'm sure God would have planned for us to meet and get to know each other regardless. S and K and family we hope we enjoyed your session as much as we did!

Fall Means Football | Sarnia/Lambton County Events Photographers

I confess, I haven't truly watched a football game since highschool and I still have no idea of the rules of the game either! However, I now have a son and a nephew who have embarked on their highschool careers, and for one of them that also means playing football.

It was hot and breezy for our nephew's first ever game. Perfect for the fans, but not so great for the players, I'm sure. I mostly watched the game through the camera lens, but it still brought back the memories of the excitement of an evening out to watch a football game with friends.

This was the junior team season opener for SCITS and LCCVI. In the end, SCITS got skunked, but what a great game to watch. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the game.

Our son has several friends at LCCVI one of whom plays on the fottball team, so here are a few shots of him too. Funny thing is, he and our nephew faced off a few times!

Autumn Beach Walk | Wyoming/Lambton County Nature Photographers

Today ushered in the first day of autumn. You wouldn't know it based on how warm it was. It hit 29C. I was dripping by the time I arrived home.

The pup was dripping because he took his first dip in the lake. He's not positive he likes it yet at this point, but he wasn't afraid of the water either. It's neat to see that instinct to swim even at the young age of ten weeks.

The colours of fall are already beginning to show. It was beautiful along the shore and so peaceful. I was sharing the beach only with one other person way off in the distance and some Canada geese.

It's already so beautiful out there now, it makes you wonder how it will look by Thanksgiving weekend!

Dance | Wyoming/Lambton County Portrait Photographers

Just so you don't think we're always behind the camera.

These were taken by our 14yo son, as part of a project I am working on for our new master bedroom. We may or may not eventually post the final product.
